Do you remember being a small child and hearing the adults talk? Saying the grown-up things? he is a so and so she said this or that and then you hear your name your ears perk up
My dad was brilliant.
Coming from a less than perfect place
Dad said lots of things ……..lots of things all the time
Sometimes not so nice things ,he was not always thinking about the big picture
What his words were , how important , to the future , a bit of an idealist
He hurt me ,my core
I knew what I was , at the very least I knew my value
He also said big things lots of big things ideas concept, plans , inside of me I understood these words mattered
They all mattered so I bet you can think if things that have impacted you and your life?
That being said
We are in such a wonderful position
Things said
Things unsaid
words they lift us up ,
go
If we could change it would we?
If we knew other things would we listen
The opportunity is before us
Words actions
Each child comes to us with something they need
Lunch yes
But more than that
Much more than that
To be where we are
fill me with peace the comfort of a job well done
